I have been involved in aroad traffic accident and what do I do?
- Firstly, seek medical attention for yourself and any passengers that are in the car with you.
- Secondly report the matter to the guards. If the guards don’t attend the accident ensure that you get the insurance details of the individual who caused the accident.
- Take pictures of the car and the accident scene. Bring all these details to your solicitor.
- Your solicitor will obtain a medical report and can at that stage proceed with your claim in the Injuries Board.
